Under His Wings

It is snowing at our place today... yay! Perhaps winter is arriving at last. {smile} And just in time to put me in a Christmas-y mood since I have some gifts to wrap and cookies to bake later.

I love this image of two goldfinches that were fluttering about our yard on a summer day a few years ago. I was enjoying coffee on the deck, while our youngest boy played nearby. We watched the two birds together (a happy memory on this cold wintry day!) and savored the moment.

And the verse is one I have been meditating on this week. Under His wings is a blessed place to be.
"He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." Psalm 91:4 {WEB}

Wishing you peace and a wonderful day,
